Brindley has been a key player for us since his arrival ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Having historically played at right back, Brindley was used on the right of a back three by former head coach Ian Burchnall and has continued in that role under Luke Williams.

Brindley's pace and calmness on the ball allow him to contribute in an attacking sense while his defensive skills and experience provide the right balance for his role.

He came through Norwich City’s academy but was released in 2012 and began to rebuild his career with Chelmsford in the Vanarama National League South.

From there he joined Chesterfield in League Two before stepping up a division with a move to Rotherham, where he was part of the side which won promotion to the Championship through the play-offs in 2014.

He spent time on loan at Scunthorpe, Oxford United and Colchester ahead of a permanent switch to the latter in June 2015, and then had a season with Barnet before heading to Bromley and becoming a permanent fixture in their defence during 2018-19.
